The Department of Education is new department with a vision to prepare prospective teachers who are skilled enough to meet the requirements of advanced and interdisciplinary teaching environment. Being established in 2019, this department runs courses for Arts and Science stream students. It offer four year integrated teacher training programme i.e. B.A.B.Ed /B.Sc B.Ed. Here we aimed to develop human qualities, tailor and nurture professional skills as well as value oriented mental attitude among teacher educators. Dedicated faculty members try to prepare a prospective teacher who will be competent, reflective in thinking and have sound knowledge base. In addition to theoretical knowledge, practical experience will also be provided to teacher educators by field based experiences in different school.
