To Commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution, the NSS wing of Akal University celebrated 26th November 2019 as Constition day. Mrs. Pahuljot, Program Officer NSS welcomed the students and faculty members participating in the function. Dr. Sandeep Singh, Coordinator NSS delivered a lecture on the occasion. He shared that how justice, liberty, equality and fraternity form the core of Indian constituions as it promises Justice: social, economic and political; liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship; and equality of status and of opportunity, and to promote among them all — fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation. The constitution framers fundamental political principles, procedures, rights, directive principles, restrictions and duties of the government and the citizens of the country. In the end Dr. Bhawna Basar reminded the students of their duties listed in the constitution that are crucial in making India a leading nation of the world.
