The Centre for Competitive Examinations has organized the “Motivation Session” on Competitive Examinations for students preparing for UPSC-CSE. The speaker was Mr. Gokul Mahajan posted as ADG in Dak Bhawan (Postal Headquarters), New Delhi. He cleared civil services at the age of 23. He secured 564 All India Rank in 2017. He again cleared Civil Service examinations in 2018 with AIR 373. He is a source of great inspiration for the civil services aspirants of our university.
He spoke about how one can keep oneself motivated in the long marathon of UPSC preparation. He asked students to have clarity in the reason why they want to pursue civil service, which will be a constant motivation for the students. He also emphasized on role of Parents, family, friends and mentors in keeping oneself motivated.
