First event of CSS (Chemical Science Society) was organized in 2016 by the students of 1st year B.Sc and M. Sc. Students. The department of Chemistry was established in 2015. Students and teachers of this department have actively participated in this event. Student arranged an indoor competition for poster making, essay writing, and quiz. The first event was inaugurated by the gracious presence of Vice-chancellor Prof. Gurmail Singh and Registrar Dr. Swarn Singh, of Akal University.
