An event titled “ECONOMANIA” was organized by the Department of Economics on 26th September,2019 for all the students of the University. The event comprised of educating audiences about the contemporary economic events such as Goods and Services Tax (GST), demonetization of the Indian economy, slowdown of economic growth of India, globalrecession and rural distress through an act; and (b) Ideashunt as how to revive the Indian economy fromthe current slowdown of growth. Students cutting across the departments participated excitingly in all events. Winners in each event were awarded with certificates and medals.
