On the eve of 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Department of Education, Botany and Zoology organised poetic recitation, essay writing and poster making competition on 5th November, 2019. The theme for all three competitions was centred on the teachings and literature of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Essay writing competition was organised in Zoology Department and poster making competition was scheduled to hold in Botany Department. Participants recited their poems on teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in Seminar Hall of University. Good number of students participated in three mentioned events. Position holders were awarded on 12th November, 2019 by Dr. Gurmail Singh,Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Akal University, Talwandi Sabo; Dr. Sawarn Singh, Registrar , Akal University, Talwandi Sabo; Dr. M.S. Johal, Dean Academics, Akal University, Talwandi Sabo & Dr. Kuldeep Kaur, H.O.D. (Botany Department), Akal University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda .
