The Induction Programme was conducted on the Department of English Studies on 13th August, 2019, with the students of both BA English (Hons) and MA English, to motivate the students. The purpose behind organizing sich a programme was to nurture the learning skills and talents among the students. The idea was to convey to the students that they should not be passive listeners in the classroom; rather they must actively participate. The students shared their views about the same and came up with useful suggestions regarding their learning styles. The faculty members of the department motivated the students to come forward in co-curricular as well as academic activities and the students responded positively.
